Job Description

Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) - Private Nursing Home - Huddersfield - £31,500 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the role of a Clinical Lead Nurse within a fantastic service in the Huddersfield area, offering genuine opportunities for progression and to undertake Management training.

You should be an experienced Nurse (Registered General Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse) with excellent general nursing experience and clinical skills with a person-centred approach to care and an ability to effectively lead the team.

The Home Manager for this service is excellent so my client is looking for someone new to take on the role of Clinical Lead to work alongside the Manager and lead on the clinical side. You must have experience in a similar sort of role previously and a strong clinical background.

Based in West Huddersfield, this service is a 60 bedded nursing home for elderly care, dementia and general nursing. Focus is on providing a level of care that enables all their residents to enjoy maximum independence and dignity in comfortable and friendly surroundings.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN, RMN) you will be responsible for:

•Providing clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
•Delivering the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
•Developing, reviewing and updating care plans
•Complying with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
•Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
•Supervising and monitoring standards of care and taking appropriate action to improve standards when required
•Ensuring all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

As a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN, RMN) you MUST have:

•A valid and up-to-date NMC registration
•Excellent general nursing skills and a strong clinical background
•Experience in a similar sort of role previously with a clear understanding of the relevant legislation
•Exceptional people skills and strong leadership capabilities
•The legal right to work in the UK
