Clinical Nurse Manager

Fairburn Chase

34K (40 hours per week)


Fairburn Chase is a 73 bedded specialist home that is made up of 4 differents units: Cygnet which is our 18 bedded Nursing unit, Teal our 11 bedded Nursing unit, Kingfisher our 24 bedded Residential unit and Athena our 20 bedded Residential unit.

-Our Clinical Nurse play a key part in the daily running of the home, working closely with the Home Manager, ensuring that the home runs effectively and efficiently and that the care provided is of the highest quality. There will, of course, be times when you have to roll up your sleeves and deliver hands-on nursing and personal care but that’s the nature of the job, and it keeps your skills up to date.

- Working with the MDT to ensure that care provided is appropriate and relevant to the individual's care package

- Participating in pre-admission assessments, assessing client care requirements

- Provide safe and effective processes for the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of drugs

- Formulation and review of support plans

- Positively promote the home

- Participate in an on-call system to support the nurse in charge

- Participate in recruitment and supervision of staff

- Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect

- You should hold nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and have a current PIN.

Company Overview

Exemplar started life as a training company, helping a care home operator get to grips with an ever-increasing regulatory burden. We helped co-ordinate nursing adaptation courses for overseas nurses too.

Having all this knowledge at our fingertips, we quickly moved into care home operation, taking over 5 elderly care homes in need of some tlc. We still have these homes and they form the bedrock on which the rest has been built.
