Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has embarked upon a comprehensive cancer strategy that will shape the future of services for the next generation of patients. We strive to become a world class cancer service, delivering internationally distinctive services that are patient centred, research driven and clinically led.
Our staff are at the centre of achieving the vision for ‘Guy’s Cancer’ and therefore we have invested in additional posts. We are looking for talented, passionate healthcare professionals to join us at this exciting time and to be part of the multi-disciplinary team that aspires to be not only one of the leading comprehensive cancer centres in the UK but also one of the best in the world.
So are you self-motivated, enthusiastic, eager to learn and keen to develop your skills, able to work both autonomously and as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team?
If so, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for experienced Oncology / Breast Care nurses to join the existing skilled nursing team within a comprehensive Breast MDT offering a wide range of contemporary surgical and oncological treatments for women with early and secondary breast cancer.
Women are offered an extensive range of oncoplastic and surgical procedures
There will also be an opportunity to work with the Genetics MDT clinic offering support with BRCA mutations.
You will undertake holistic needs assessment and deliver information and psychological support as well as a range of supportive care and survivorship services for our patients.
We also provide CNS support for Breast Cancer patients at University Hospital Lewisham so there is an expectation for staff to rotate between Trust sites.
