Hours: Part/Full Time

Come and join our friendly, supportive and caring GP group practice based in the London Borough of Newham.

We pride ourselves on our ability and willingness to adopt innovative ways of working that improve patient care and make our practice a great place to work.

We specifically aim to provide training and support to all of our staff team so that they really get to enjoy their work.

The First 4 Health Group is a innovative federation and has approximately 25,000 patients across 3 sites: E12 Health, Stratford Village Surgery and Leytonstone Road Medical Centre. All of the sites operate as independent units but also work closely together to facilitate the efficient management of the group practice by using standard IT, Training and Clinical policies and procedures across all of the sites.

All 3 of the practice within the First 4 Health Group are members of the First 4 Health Federation.

We are looking to recruit a skilled, experienced & enthusiastic Pharmacist to join their team in order to facilitate the following:

  • Improve annual reviews of medication

  • Improve health outcomes for people with LTC and Severe & Enduring Mental Illness

  • Reduce contacts caused by suboptimal medicines management

  • Reduce overall spend on prescribing

  • Reduction in drug errors and prescribing errors

We use EMIS Web and our own internal GP practice management system - OneRoom™, to facilitate the provision of excellent healthcare to our patients and support our staff across all 3 sites.

We are the leading IT practice in the area, using new and innovative systems to improve services to patients.

We pride ourselves on being a high performing practice with excellent premises easily accessible for all patients.

We also operate a NHS pensions scheme for all employees, as well as a practice performance bonus which can equate to up to 10% of your monthly salary.

We support our staff by arranging regular 'In House' and 'External Training' in order to enhance their already accredited qualifications and support them in their work.

We have regular clinical and non-clinical team meetings to manage and continually improve our patient care. E12 Health is a GP training practice. Stratford Village is currently in the process of becoming a GP training practice.

We are passionate about ensuring that the NHS is well run and remains patient focused. We are therefore looking to recruit forward thinking and self-motivated pharmacist who is committed to promoting clinical excellence and team-work within the NHS. We actively support innovative new community based initiatives to promote patient health such as the Well London Project and GP Champions for Youth.

We operate an annual discretionary staff bonus scheme - based partly on individuals choosing to take on additional responsibility and partly on the practice team working together to meet the standard QOF and other contractual KPI targets set for all GP practices.

The successful applicant will need to

  • have a positive and enthusiastic attitude

  • be able to review and monitor the work of the team

  • be committed to providing an excellent service to patients
