Job Description

Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse who would like to share your knowledge?

Are you looking for an opportunity to work within a team overseeing teaching and assessing staff in the clinical setting?

This post in integral to the delivery of training, assessment and support for Registered and pre-registered nurses in clinical practice during their transition to the NHS and introduction to Preceptorship within the Trust.

The post holder will work closely with the ward Matrons and the Professional Development team to support the assessment, education of Registered, and pre-registered nurses and the delivery of essential and required learning within the Trust.

The post holder will devise, plan & deliver training programmes as required, with support from the Matron, to support Registered Nurses during their transition to the NHS and introduction to Preceptorship.

The Practice Education Team will have a specialist subject focus each year, the team will be responsible for ensuring the education around this subject is clearly delivered to all relevant staff groups.

Support the community services with the introduction of RD&E paperwork, IMT systems, policies, Procedures and processes.
