Clinical Psychologist Adult Mental Health Service

Job Description

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust (CWP) provides specialist child and adolescent, adult and older person's mental health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services to a population of approximately one million people. CWP also offers community physical health services to patients who have a GP in Western Cheshire.

CWP is committed to supporting people with a disability at the point of their thinking about applying for a job with the trust and throughout any recruitment process.

If you think you have a disability which meets the definition set out in the Equalities Act and believe you meet the ‘essential’ criteria for a job which is currently being advertised, you may wish to submit an application under the trust’s Guaranteed Interview Scheme. You can do this by answering ‘YES’ to the question ‘do you wish to be considered under the ‘guaranteed interview scheme?’ in the Personal Information Section of the on-line job application form.

If you are disabled and think you might have special support needs in applying for a job, attending for an interview or in undertaking any tests as part of a selection process, please contact the trust’s Recruitment Team on  ( Phone number removed ) . Someone there will make sure the manager running the selection process is aware of your particular needs.

You may be interested to know that the trust works closely with other agencies, such as Job Centre Plus, to try and ensure that any ‘reasonable adjustments’ which may need to be made are put in place to enable someone with a disability to give their best at work. That may sometimes mean a delay in the start date for a new appointee whilst adjustments are made’.

If you need help at any stage, please ask for it by contacting the trust’s Recruitment Team on  ( Phone number removed )  quoting the Vacancy reference number..
