An opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Cardiovascular Research Team (CarRes). We are a busy team consisting of Clinical Research Nurses, a Clinical Trial Co-ordinator and Clinical Trial Administrator. This is an excellent chance to develop and expand your skills and knowledge in the research setting.
The Team manages a wide variety of studies within the cardiovascular directorate; co-ordinating cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular research studies across three acute hospital sites. Our portfolio consists of NIHR adopted and commercially sponsored trials.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, innovative and highly motivated nurse. You should be an individual who demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be adaptable, able to prioritise a combination of demands on your time and work autonomously whilst integrating with the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with senior members of the research and multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with other research partners, both industry and academic; and will participate in the co-ordination of existing clinical research trials and in the setting up of new research studies.
Research experience is preferable but not essential as training and support will be provided. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate considerable clinical experience and a clear interest in the research process.
