Are you an experienced clinical expert in the field of respiratory physiotherapy? Do you have excellent people management skills and a passion for developing the profile of respiratory physiotherapy inpatient services? Do you relish the opportunities for respiratory physiotherapy that are emerging within the current healthcare climate?

We are looking for a highly skilled clinician with significant clinical, operational and service development experience in the acute NHS setting who can work alongside our Therapy Executive Lead and the respiratory team leads to deliver an efficient, evidence-based and innovative respiratory physiotherapy service to complex acutely unwell inpatients, in addition to being responsible for the development and delivery of the respiratory out of hours service across 3 sites.

You will be a clinical expert who delivers patient care at an advanced level within the fields of critical care, surgery or medicine, who is a committed and inspirational leader. Your passion for the development of the respiratory team members and that of the service will be underpinned by best evidence and aligned to the Trust objectives.

The team will flourish under your expert clinical supervision, as you inspire and challenge them in their career pathway. You will be an advocate of emerging respiratory physiotherapy research and seek to involve and encourage the team in relevant research opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

You will demonstrate a responsive and proactive approach to change and be able to deliver an excellent service in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
We provide a 7-day service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and you will play a key role in the development, maintenance, training and delivery of our out of hours service, including delivery of the on call simulation training in our Simulation Centre. It is essential that you are able to contribute fully to the on-call out of hours service.
