Clinical Service Manager

£50,000 p/a plus NHS pension and medical indemnity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced innovative and growing organisation delivering exceptional care to communities of Bracknell and the surrounding areas.

At the forefront of urgent care, the Bracknell Urgent Care Centre is in the newly refurbished Royal Berkshire Health space, a modern building with free onsite parking and good public transport links. The service sees over 36,000 patients each year and treats a range of presentations covering minor injury and illness. Working closely with the local clinical commissioning groups, the service has access to state of the art technology, including virtual fracture clinics and on site X-ray facilities providing high quality patient care.

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a dedication to best practice and a passion for improving health outcomes. Looking for the next step in their career the ideal candidate will have experience of working within an urgent or unscheduled care setting.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, the Clinical Service Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the Bracknell Urgent Care Centre runs smoothly. Utilising their in-depth unscheduled care and clinical knowledge, the will be able to translate legislative and operating developments into clinical service delivery designed to meet the needs of the service users and contractual requirements. Their time will be split between clinical sessions, whereby they will lead by example effectively triaging and treating service users, and leadership and management sessions where they will provide clinical and operational management and guidance to their team.
