Do you believe mental health deserves better?
Beacon UK is driven by a commitment to mental health—and it’s driven by a team of talented people who are working each day to transform it.
Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) is the exciting new mental health partnership chosen to deliver mental health services for children, young people and young adults aged 0-25. Led by Birmingham Children’s Hospital and combining the expertise of Worcestershire Health & Care Trust, the Priory Group, Beacon UK and the Children’s Society, the service will completely shift the way that mental health is viewed and delivered for young people. Beacon UK’s responsibility is to be the city’s system integrator, bringing international best practice principles of ‘managed care’ to UK mental health provision for the first time.
Acting as a Triage Clinician in our Access Centre, you will be responsible for managing incoming referral and enquiry calls and facilitating case flow within the service for allotted appointments, clinician advice, rapid clinical triage and professional referrals. You will be the point of contact for initial clinical queries, providing the appropriate advice and guidance and navigating the caller to the right care pathway or service, in order to ensure the Access Centre operates a no wrong door approach.
We’re keen to hear from individuals looking to work on a part-time or job share basis as well as those looking to work full-time.
If you’re interested in working as part of our dynamic team at the forefront of the UK’s changing health care landscape, we want to hear from you. Beacon UK is a place where things happen quickly, so if a fast-paced working environment appeals to you, please apply.
Expect better, demand better and get better mental health with Beacon UK.
