Job Description

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust (CWP) provides specialist child and adolescent, adult and older person's mental health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services to a population of approximately one million people. CWP also offers community physical health services to patients who have a GP in Western Cheshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Support Worker to work within Older Peoples Inpatient Services at Bowmere Hospital. This can often be a very challenging environment and the successful post holder will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for working with service users living with Dementia.

This is a fixed term contract to cover a secondment until 15th April 2017.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check: Successful candidates who require a DBS check will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £44 for an enhanced disclosure and £26 for a standard disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from salary immediately following appointment.

DBS Update Service: If the role you are successful for requires a DBS check, you are encouraged to enrol for this service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies. Please see attached “Update Service Applicant Guide” document for further information

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
