Cygnet Hospital Stevenage is located just off J8 of the A1M, on the northern outskirts of Stevenage in Hertfordshire the hospital is easily reached from Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Stevenage itself also has a regular train service connecting it to Kings Cross in London. The hospital is purpose built with 90 beds split into six wards that provide two separate care pathways for men and women from medium secure through low secure to locked services.
We are looking for exceptional, enthusiastic and motivated Team Leaders to join our expanding teams across our secure men's and women's pathway.
Salary: £32, 389 - £41, 391 + enhancements + £1, 500 location allowance
Our new ward, Orchid will be a 14-bed locked acute admissions ward for women. It will provide a safe environment for service users experiencing an acute episode of mental illness that require assessment and stabilisation. The team will work collaboratively with the service user, their family and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral through to discharge, encouraging and empowering service user involvement and participation through a recovery approach model. This service will also have access to our broad range of therapies which include: Reasoning & Rehabilitation, Anger Management, DBT, Schema Therapy and Neurofeedback. Applicants who have an interest in working with women experiencing an acute illness or who have a personality disorder are particularly welcome.
Successful RMN's will work as members of a full multi-disciplinary team and will possess excellent clinical, team and communication skills together with vision and enthusiasm to develop the hospital's service model.
Previous forensic secure and/or acute experience is preferable; although Mental Health Nurses should have at post-preceptorship experience as a staff nurse preferably working in one of these settings.

Salary- Up to £40, 965 per annum (fully inclusive of all enhancements) + £2,000 retention bonus
