Clinical Patient Transfer Coordinator (RGN) - Hampshire (South Coast) - Permanent - Full-time - £30,000 - £34,000
Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Clinical Patient Transfer Coordinator (RGN) working for our client based in Hampshire (South Coast) on a Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC Registered General Nurse (Adult) and have you will have significant post-registration experience.
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; You will have recent experience of working in either a community setting or a hospital setting. You will have experience of assessing prior to discharge and the planning phase to enable this. You will need to be able to administer IV and either cannulate or provide venepuncture. You will need to have a UK driving licence as this role requires drivers.
We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; experience in a Home IV setting.
The position is working for a leading private healthcare company, delivering home IV therapies to patients in their homes, following being discharged from hospitals. This position will see you based in the companies hospital clients ward, providing assessment and planning to patients who are going to be discharged to the companies nursing team. You will be supported by your manager and the company provide training to keep you updated. The role will involve travelling to patients homes and you have the option of taking a Car Allowance or a Company car for the role. The company will pay for the mileage you do and provide you with a phone and iPad in order to do your role. This will involve some shift working which will be mornings and evenings, with alternate weekend working. Enhancements are paid for weekend working also
This is a Full-time Permanent position working 37.5 per week working in Hampshire (South Coast).
The salary for this position is between £30,000 and £34,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is benefits that include Unsociable hour enhancements (30% for evenings and Saturdays and 50% on Sundays), 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, Private pension scheme with 6% contribution, Car allowance £4,250 or company car, Mileage allowance, Life insurance and private medical cover, iPad/Tablet, Mobile phone, as well as In house training.
