Job Description

Communicate with, and complete records for individuals

Support the health & safety of yourself and individuals

Develop your knowledge and practice

Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and wellbeing of individuals

Carry out and provide feedback on specific plan of care activities

Support individuals to access and use information

Support individuals in their daily living

Support individuals to make journeys

Support individuals to meet their domestic and personal needs

Support individuals to access and participate in recreational activities

Support individuals to take part in development activities

Provide food and drink for individuals

Help individuals to eat and drink

Help individuals to keep mobile

Help address the physical comfort needs of individuals

Undertake agreed pressure area care

Support individuals with their personal care needs

Support individuals to manage continence

Assist in the administration of medication

Contribute to moving and handling individuals

Observe, monitor and record the conditions of individuals

Support the individuals to undertake and monitor their own health care

Support individuals who are distressed

Contribute to working in collaboration with carers in the caring role

Contribute to effective group care

Gain access to, and ensure individuals’ homes are secure

Protect yourself from the risk of violence at work

Relate to, and interact with individuals

Ensure your own actions support the equality, diversity, rights and responsibilities of individuals

Receive, and store medication and products

Obtain and test specimens from individuals

Contribute to the care of a deceased person

Contribute to the identification of the risk of danger to individuals and others

Contribute to the effectiveness of teams

Receive and pass on messages and information

Monitor, handle and maintain materials and equipment

Manage and organize time activities to support individuals in the community

Receive and monitor visits

Maintain a safe and clean environment  



Job Requirements

Must be 18 years old with a full driving license,own car essential.

Part time or full time vacancies available local to where you live.

No relevant qualifications or experience necessary.

All successful applicants must attend a 7 Day Social Care Induction Framework Course which includes All Wales Manual Handling,Dementia Care and Medication Awareness as well as shadow senior staff before they start work.

Main duties include promoting independence and support with daily living, personal care, preparing meals, ensuring our clients are safe and well in their own home.

In house City and Guilds centre delivers fully funded work based learning qualifications in Health and Social Care.28 days annual leave.

24/7 dedicated out of hours service.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure will be part funded by employer.
