Community Dietitian (Mental Health)

Job Description

The post offers an opportunity for a qualified Dietitian to join our Mental Health Team and work mainly in the South Ayrshire area. You will provide a service to the adult mental health teams adult inpatients and to patients in their own homes with varying dietetic needs. You will also provide cover to wards at the brand new Woodland View Mental Health/Community facility in North Ayrshire. The department provides training to A and C placement students. You should possess an Honors degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in a community/mental health setting would be an advantage but not essential. Evidence of CPD is essential as is evidence of competencies and skills required to deliver a service e.g. communication and team working.
