We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative midwife to join our friendly and progressive community midwifery service. This post will be within the Cannock Team initially, however flexibility is expected to support workload
Our community midwifery teams are based within Children Centres in four localities within Wolverhampton City, together with two teams in the surrounding Staffordshire areas, one based in Codsall South Staffordshire and one based in Cannock Chase Hospital.
All midwives work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide care in a variety of settings.
You will be responsible for your own caseload and clinics in the community on a day to day basis. You will be expected to work weekdays and weekends and to be on call overnight to provide a home birth service and support intrapartum care on the delivery suite / Midwifery Led unit on occasion.
Our community midwives regularly provide care as part of the team on our Alongside Midwife Led Unit on a rotational basis.
We will offer you a robust induction package, ongoing development and proactive support from Midwifery Supervision .
