We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 Community Neuro Physiotherapist for our Community Neuro Rehabilitation team based at the Cedars Unit, Tolworth Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance and develop your expertise within neurology, including Early Supported Discharge (ESD) for Stroke and a full range of long term neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Spinal Cord Injuries, Head Injuries, Motor Neurone Disease.
Working within a dynamic and friendly multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLTs, Dieticians and a Psychologist, you will have a wide-ranging clinical caseload delivering specialist rehabilitation in the community and in an outpatients setting at Cedars Unit, Tolworth Hospital.
As we are a developing team, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with our service users to design and deliver clinical services. You will be working to deliver these high quality services to Kingston residents supported by highly skilled Band 7s.
In-line with our existing models of integration, the team delivers its service in combination with other NHS and 3rd sector organisations and you will have the opportunity to work with other specialist healthcare services including the Spasticity Clinic, Orthotists, Wheelchair Services, MS Nurse, PD Nurse and the MNDA. The Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team is part of a wider therapies team, headed by a Senior Therapist, providing services to the local community.
