Job Description

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit has commenced and is due to be completed 2017, and plans to extend the neonatal unit are underway.

We provide high quality, friendly and effective community health services from multiple sites covering Walsall. Our multidisciplinary services include rapid response and homebased care, so that those with long term conditions and the frail elderly can remain in their own homes.

Community Staff Nurse


Salary £21,692 - £28,180 per annum

375 hours per week/part time considered

Are you dynamic, self motivated, enthusiastic, and looking for the opportunity to develop your nursing career in the community setting?

We are looking for high achieving, hard working and innovative nurses to join our community nursing service.

You will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to work autonomously whilst also being part of a team working with an integrated approach to care.

You will provide high quality clinical care, support and case management for patients in the primary care setting.

You must be a level one registered nurse with:

  • Experience in community nursing
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Demonstrable nursing experience.

You must be able to travel throughout the working day across the borough.
