An excting opportunity for a Communtiy Nursery Nurse to join an established health visitor team in offering support to clients in all aspects of child care and parenting of young children from 0 - 5 years. The role will include delivering the healthy child programme, completing developmental reviews using the ASQ and ASQSE and developing personalised packages of care to parents and families. Screening for maternal mental health problems and Domestic violence are also part of the role. The post holder must have excellent communication skills in order to develop good relationships with clients and colleagues and must be able to work as part of a team.
The Nursery Nurse will be expected to deliver high standards of care and professionalism to clients. They will accountable to the health visitor and will receive support and supervision from them to ensure they remain competent and are supported in their practice.
