As a social enterprise our priority is to help people we care for stay well and help those who need treatment recover in the best place for their needs. Being a social enterprise we provide NHS funded services but with a difference. Firstly, we are staff owned, which means as an employee you can be a shareholder and have a direct influence on how the company is run. Secondly, any surplus we make can be re-invested back into the community to promote the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
So if you’re a highly motivated Registered Nurse looking to join our forward thinking Community Teams across North Somerset we could have an opportunity to suit you……
Each of our multi-disciplinary teams will have close working relationships with nursing staff, allied health and social care professionals where we focus on delivering a high standard of care to housebound patients to help prevent avoidable admission into the acute sector.
You will need to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously whilst out in the community as you will be required to undertake a wide range of clinical duties such as wound management and end of life care. As a Community Nurse you need to be enthusiastic about innovative ways of working and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service in your approach to delivering patient care alongside basic IT skills.
Although most of the work is during core hours, there is a requirement to work early and late shifts on a rotational basis, and you will be required to work weekends.
