If applicable to this post, from April 2015, it is a national requirement to undertake the Cavendish Care Certificate if you are new to health and social care. If you are not able to provide evidence of completion of this certificate, you will be supported to complete the program within your first 12 weeks' employment. You will be given a mentor and buddy to help you achieve the required competencies.

We currently have a vacancy for a CPN within our ICMHT based at Sycamore Centre, Grantham. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team which provides support to adults experiencing severe mental health difficulties. Previous experience of working in the community is essential as well as an ability to develop practices and work within a recovery model. The successful candidate would need to be able to work with service users who are difficult to engage with and use their own initiative, be able to prioritise their workload and have the ability to implement a range of healthcare interventions.

Professional supervision, management and other professional support will be provided to the successful candidate.
