Due to a vacancy in our Specialist Palliative Care Team we are looking to recruit an RGN who possesses/or is working towards a relevant Palliative Care qualification You must have a minimum of 2 year’s experience of working in a palliative care arena.

The post involves providing specialist advice and a supportive role for those affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses during the palliative stages of the disease process. The post holder will be responsible for addressing the specific needs of individual palliative care patients through direct or indirect intervention and the facilitation of multi-disciplinary working. He/she must be highly organised, paying close attention to detail and as the post commands a significant level of responsibility, the post holder will need to be able to both work in conjunction with clinical teams and on their own initiative.
