We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our Complex Care team in Woking working full or part time hours in the local Mole Valley area, including Dorking and Leatherhead.

Newcross Healthcare specialises in providing the highest quality person-centred care to both adults and children with complex health needs in their own homes. Therefore it is essential that you’ve worked in a similar role previously, however full training and a client-specific induction will be provided.

The Home Care Assistant Job Role:

We look after a diverse client base therefore our team memebers must be able to demonstrate an ability to adapt and work closely within a family network in a professional and sensitive manner. Our team of carers are supported by a supervising nurse who oversees all of our clients care to ensure we provide a service of the highest quality at all times. 

Daily tasks could include medication administration, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, mobilisation, pressure management as well as personal hygiene and enabling our clients to take part in their favourite activities so it is important that you have previous experience of similar tasks.

Upon joining, you’ll receive a full in-house induction as well as an introduction to the client you will be supporting, their needs and care plan. You’ll receive any training necessary to top up your skills, including a shadow shift if required.

In order to be considered for this role you must have the following:


  • The ability to prove your right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a complex care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care is desirable
  • Medication administration certificate highly preferable
  • Experience of clients with dementia highly preferable.
