Complex Care Assistant in Egham

We are looking dedicated Care Assistants to work full or part time hours, days and nights in Egham, Surrey.  

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to a Young Adult in her own home, who lives with a range of complex healthcare needs. It is essential that you have worked in similar environments previously, (although full training will be given) and are able to work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience through working with any of the following:

  • PEG
  • Severe Learning and Physical Disabilities
  • Epilepsy Management

Within your role you will be responsible for assisting with key health provision functions, including administering medication, pain relief and various domestic and healthcare tasks to assist the service user with her day to day living.

You will form an integral part of the Newcross Complex Care at Home Team in this varied and rewarding role, delivering person-centred care in accordance with personalised care plans that enrich lives. You will have access to comprehensive training and 24 hour support, and in order to ensure that you always have enough work you will be employed on a permanent, flexible contract with guaranteed hours. 

As a Complex Care Assistant, we can offer you:

  • Pay rate of up to £14.46/hr (including holiday pay)

To Apply for this role you must have:

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a similar role in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.  
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care highly preferable
