Full Training Provided

We are seeking experienced Home Care Assistants to join our complex care at home team in Woking, supporting clients in the local Spelthorne area of Surrey.

Newcross Healthcare specialises in providing the highest quality person-centred care to adults and children with complex health needs in their own homes. It’s essential that you’ve worked in a similar role previously, however full training and a client-specific induction will be provided.

The Home Care Assistant Role:

You must have a compassionate approach and be able to provide life-enhancing care that protects the dignity of the client and is in line with their personalised care plan. You will be dedicated to empowering each individual in your care, improving wellbeing and promoting their independence at all times.

Daily tasks could include medication administration, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, mobilisation, pressure management as well as personal hygiene and enabling our clients to take part in their favourite activities so it is important that you have previous experience of similar tasks.

  • Pay rate of up to £14.46/hr, paid weekly including holiday pay

Upon joining, you’ll receive a full in-house induction as well as an introduction to the client you will be supporting, their needs and care plan. You’ll receive any training necessary to top up your skills, including a shadow shift if required.

In order to be considered for this role you must have the following:


  • The ability to prove your right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a complex care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Medication administration certificate highly preferable
  • Experience of clients with dementia highly preferable
