Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Cardiologist available immediately. The successful applicant will join a team of 15 consultant cardiologists. They will contribute to a comprehensive consultant-led secondary and tertiary cardiology service based in the Trent Cardiac Centre, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. They will have broad experience in all aspects of clinical cardiology, with sub-speciality expertise in PCI angioplasty. The appointee will participate in the cardiology Primary PCI on-call rota.
The department offers subspecialty expertise in the treatments of all aspects of modern adult cardiovascular disease.
Nottingham University Hospitals Trust is a large university teaching hospital serving a local population of 675,000, tertiary population of 13 million. The emergency department based on the Queens Medical Campus is one of the busiest in Europe with over 4000 patients per annum admitted with cardiac chest pain
