CONSULTANT CARDIOLOGISTS IN GENERAL CARDIOLOGY WITH INTERESTS IN ADVANCED ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY, CORONARY CT OR HEART FAILURE

We are seeking to appoint three enthusiastic colleagues to develop the existing cardiology service. These are two new posts and one replacement post created to meet the needs of an expanding local population. They will be primarily based at Peterborough City Hospital. The successful applicants will join the current integrated and supportive team of 4 consultants, specialist nurses, cardiac physiologists and catheter lab staff, driving forwards excellence in local cardiology provision.
Applicants with interest in the above areas will be considered and the job plan/timetable adapted accordingly depending on specialist interest. At least one post will be designated for imaging and heart failure specifically.
PSHFT provides acute care to Peterborough city as well as many surrounding picturesque towns and villages within Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire. The 650 bedded hospital has close links with Cambridge and Leicester medical schools and is part of the Eastern Clinical Research Network. Working within the area of Peterborough and Stamford affords any individual the benefits of country living, whilst being within easy access or commute of London and Cambridge (54mins).
