Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint two new Consultants in Geriatric Medicine. You will have the opportunity to develop a first-class service in Medicine for Older People. Our trust has recently joined the NHS Elect Acute Frailty Network and these new posts will enable us to offer a 7-days-a-week Frail Elderly Service. The appointees will be based at Peterborough City Hospital, a new state-of-the-art hospital.
We are looking for dynamic team players who can embrace new ways of working. You will be expected to take an active lead in new developments in our service. Although the focus of these posts requires an interest in frailty we very much encourage applicants who have additional sub-specialty interests. Please see the full job description for details.
You will join our existing team of four friendly and enthusiastic Consultant Geriatricians. The new posts are full-time, initially offering 10 PAs. To ensure we attract high calibre individuals we are looking to offer a mutually beneficial job package and working arrangements.
