Consultant in Acute Medicine, YM72

Applicants are invited to apply for four posts in Acute Medicine and Ambulatory Emergency Care, offering scope for specialist interests, at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. Two posts will be based at the West Middlesex University Hospital site and two at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Site. All four posts will have commitments on the Acute Medicine rota.

Successful applicants will help lead the daytime treatment of acute patients on busy acute assessment units, including patients requiring level 1 care, as well as supporting the Trust’s innovative ambulatory care pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician with excellent leadership skills to join strong clinical teams which provide acute medical services for the local population and beyond.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that assesses and treats acute patients requiring enhanced care and will supervise the in-patient and outpatient management of this group of patients admitted to the hospital as emergencies.

It is envisaged that these new appointments will further consolidate our teaching reputation, strengthen our highly motivated multidisciplinary team, and enable further development of this busy, dynamic department.
