South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a CAMHS LD Consultant Psychiatrist to cover South Staffordshire Localities which include Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth (East), Cannock, Rugeley and Stafford.

We pride ourselves as being flexible and would be willing to look at part time options if preferred.

The CAMHS LD Consultant psychiatrist will work as part of the integrated team providing a community-based service to the local population. The Consultant will play a significant role in the development of the service by liaising with general practitioners, social services and other key partner organizations.

You will join an experienced, creative, highly skilled and professional multidisciplinary team working to drive forward a high quality, values based, and specialist health service for young people, their families and their carers.

There are extensive opportunities for the post-holder to lead in service developments, audits, teaching and training and to expand their research portfolio. There is an active CPD programme and a peer group. The Trust also has links to Keele University Medical School.

Selection will be on the 21st December via a staff, carers and service user panel in the morning and full AAC scheduled in the afternoon.
