Most services are provided at Queen Alexandra Hospital but we also offer a range of outpatient and diagnostic facilities closer to patients’ homes. Consultant Gastroenterologist

Salary £75,249 - £101,451 per annum

Applications are invited for this post as the 11th Consultant Gastroenterologist within the Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology based at the new, state of the art, Queen Alexandra Hospital, to start as soon as possible.

You will join a cohesive team of 10 Consultant Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists working in one of the largest acute hospitals in the country.

The catchment population of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust is approximately 650,000 people. There are excellent opportunities for further service development, working with an enthusiastic and dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Portsmouth provides easy access to beautiful countryside including the South Downs and New Forest National Parks. There are excellent seaside and sailing facilities and the city is only an hour and a half from central London. The area offers all the lifestyle opportunities of metropolitan, rural and coastal life.

The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Consultants (England) 2003.
