Nottingham Children’s Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic General Paediatric Consultant to help us deliver high quality medical care to the children of Nottingham. Children’s services in Nottingham are united at the Nottingham Children’s Hospital at Queens Medical Centre campus, co-located with the medical school and university. This post has arisen due to the commissioning of the consultant to GP telephone advice line by the CCG.
General paediatrics at Nottingham Childrens Hospital is a dynamic, well supported and highly regarded service supporting the local population. You will join an experienced and supportive team of consultants.
This post will be responsible for liaison between the Paediatric Emergency Department and the acute general paediatric service and will spend some time working in the Paediatric Emergency Department with which there are already strong links and shared pathways.
All consultants are appointed as Clinical Teachers by Nottingham University.

All new employees starting work at NUH will be subject to a DBS check and liable for the cost (£49 for enhanced, £31 for standard, £30 for basic).
