We are currently seeking applications for a Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop a subspecialty interest complimentary to that of the current consultants. It is likely that some adult sessions in an adult eye department in the region are negotiated if the successful applicant so wishes.

Applicants must hold FRCOphth or equivalent, possess or be within six months of obtaining their CCT and have completed a fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology.

This is an exciting opportunity for motivated ophthalmologists to participate in developing and extending the paediatric ophthalmology service by joining an enthusiastic and experienced team looking to expand its consultant workforce, working closely with a team of paediatric orthoptists, optometrists and nurses, active in innovative changes in delivery of service, teaching, research and audit.
