Manchester provides a comprehensive paediatric urology service including bladder exstrophy, endourology, stone surgery, DSD surgery, laparoscopy for upper and lower urinary tract and neuropathic bladder service. These are supported by multidisciplinary team meetings and joint clinics with regular audits. We would expect the appointee to join the bladder exstrophy team and work with Mr Cervellione in addition to standard paediatric urology.
The Urology department has one PA, 2 support secretaries, 1 bladder exstrophy secretary, 1 scheduler, 1 typist, 4 specialist nurses, 1 honorary fellow from overseas, 1 BAPU urology trainee, 2 paediatric surgical trainees and 2 CT level doctors.
