Applications are invited for this posts which have been developed to further enhance the services provided by our current team of 10 Respiratory physicians.
Both posts are based at the Royal Sussex County hospital in Brighton. Both posts offer an exciting opportunity to join our thriving department which currently provides specialist services in Cancer (including EBUS), Bronchiectasis/CF, ILD, Clinical allergy, Pleural disease, COPD and Sleep/NIV and we are happy to consider applicants with any Respiratory sub speciality interest. There is excellent support from specialist nurses and Respiratory trainees.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is the regional teaching hospital, providing general acute services to Brighton and Hove and Mid Sussex and tertiary services for patients across Sussex and the south east of England. Working as one hospital across two sites in Brighton and Haywards Heath, we treat over half a million patients a year.
You will benefit from our close ties to Brighton and Sussex Medical School. There are opportunities to join clinicians leading on both undergraduate education at BSMS and postgraduate education through HE KSS.
