Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology
Nestled in the heart of Sussex, with green fields around the site and views to the South Downs National Park, Hurstwood Park Centre is located in the grounds of the Princess Royal Hospital and is the base for our regional Clinical Neurophysiology services.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH) is an acute teaching hospital, working across two main sites: the RoyalSussexCountyHospital in Brighton and the PrincessRoyalHospital in Haywards Heath. Working as one hospital across two sites, and playing to the strengths of both, gives us the flexibility to develop services which meet the needs of our patients at different stages of their treatment and care. We provide District General Hospital services to our local populations in and around the City of Brighton and Hove, Mid Sussex and the western part of East Sussex and more specialised and tertiary services, which include neurosciences, arterial vascular surgery, neonatal, paediatrics, cardiac, cancer, renal, infectious diseases and HIV medicine, for patients across Sussex and the south east of England.
As part of our commitment to expand and improve our thriving Neurophysiology services for patients in advance of the ambitious 3T’s hospital development, we are seeking applicants for Consultant posts in Neurophysiology. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient neurophysiology services, proactively taking a leading role in developing innovative provision in support of top quality healthcare for our patients. They will be encouraged and supported to build up sub-specialist interests, and to involve themselves with multi-disciplined teams to foster our role as an academic centre, a provider of high quality teaching, and a host hospital for cutting edge research and innovation.
