North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust is one of London’s major acute hospital trusts based in North London.
Applications are invited for a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine at the North Middlesex University Hospital.
The post is for 10 Programmed Activities per week, however part-time applications will be considered.This post is a substantive appointment joining the existing team of acute medicine consultants within the wider faculty of acute medicine.
The post holder will work within the acute assessment, short stay, and ambulatory care units to provide assessment and treatment for acute medical patents in line with the London Quality standards for acute emergency services. They will have the opportunity to develop new services and pathways that promote high quality care for patients in terms of clinical effectiveness, safety and patient experience. We would welcome candidates who want to develop a specialist interest that supports the acute medicine agenda.
