As a Critical Care Nurse in our Manchester Hospital, you’ll ensure that our patients benefit from the highest standards of care at all times, in a clean and safe environment. Passionate about caring and committed to doing the right thing, you’ll champion the wellbeing and interests of every patient, employee and visitor. Providing valued assistance to senior staff in managing clinical departments, you’ll also enjoy responsibility for delivering leadership and management when they’re away. Making a difference across a complex, challenging caseload, you’ll never stop developing.

Job Requirements

An NMC registered RGN, you have proven nursing experience in a critical care environment. You’ll being to the role a range of nursing skills and clinical knowledge, with training in infection control and health and safety. Understanding of, and commitment to, standards and practices promoted by external bodies such as the Care Quality Commission, is crucial. Knowledge of basic workload and shift management is also essential. It is your collaborative spirit, communication skills, confidence, and flair for building relationships with all kinds of people that really set you apart.
