Critical Care Staff Nurse

Our Vacancy
 
Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the care of mainly surgical patients in our High Dependency Unit and on our busy ward. The wide range of clinical procedures provided by Spire Manchester Hospital means that you will be exposed to a diverse range of nursing specialisms such as: orthopaedic, paediatric and bariatric surgery. Your role will include managing a group of patients providing clinical skills including communicating with the patient, assessing their immediate and future care needs and aiding their recovery. This might include care of their surgical site, medicine management and fluid balance. You will also be involved in caring for patients should they need to be transferred to a level 3 unit.
 
Working hours: This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week. The post entails working on a rotation basis covering both day, night shifts and on call .
