Dementia Care Assistant Jobs in Wymondham

We have several flexible vacancies for experienced Care Assistants to work full or part time hours in the Wymondham area through our local Norwich branch. Experience in dementia care is highly desirable for this role.

You will have a kind and compassionate approach, able to work well under pressure and always in a patient manner. You will play an essential role in supporting our clients, living with various stages of dementia, in their day to day lives. This could include personal care, domestic tasks and enabling each individual to participate in their favourite activities.

  • Salary up to £11.75/hr, paid weekly including holiday pay

We take pride in the quality of our care, so we’re looking for experienced individuals with a genuine, caring approach as well as the skills to deliver person-centred care.

In order to be considered for this job you will need the following:


  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Experience of clients with dementia highly preferable

  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months
