Dementia Care Assistant Job - North Walsham

We have several flexible vacancies for experienced Care Assistants to work full or part time hours in the North Walsham area through our local Norwich branch.

The Dementia Care Role:

It is highly desirable that you have experience in dementia care for this role as you will play an essential part in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for each individual in your care. This may include daily tasks such as assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling clients to participate in their favourite activities.

You will have a caring and compassionate approach, putting the welfare of service users at the centre of all that you do.

In order to be considered for this role you will need:


  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care or nursing home in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Dementia care experience preferable

  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months
