Unsted Park Sixth Form is specifically designed to allow young people aged 16 to 19 with Asperger's Syndrome, higher functioning autism and associated learning difficulties to build a post 16 curriculum that is tailored to their individual needs and ambitions.

The focus of the whole school approach is in three core areas: education, independence and integration - based on these core areas we provide individual, child-centred programmes which recognise individual abilities and strengths and help students to reach their full potential.

Job Advert Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive professional to fulfil the role of Deputy Head of Care. The successful candidate will assist our Head of Care in the leadership and management of our residential setting. This will include ensuring the smooth running of our living and learning environment, and contributing to our range of care and independence programmes. Along with experience of working within a special needs environment, you will need an NVQ3 or QCF Diploma Level 3 in an area relating to Care/Children & Young People. Additionally, the post holder will be required to hold a UK driving licence and be prepared to drive all school vehicles.
