Deputy Home Manager
Job Description

Our client requires a dedicated Deputy Manager to work within a beautiful nursing home in Nottinghamshire. They offer dementia, mental Health and physical disabilities treatment to Elderly. You will have excellent leadership qualities as will be involved in the management of the staff. You will be responsible for assisting the Home Manager in the day to running of the home.

You will be directly involved with senior management and will be responsible for supervising staff and monitoring patient care. The successful Deputy Manager will have excellent clinical leadership skills. The role will offer days and nights shifts, 36.00 hours per week.

The Role:
You will oversee and maintain a high quality of care for residents.
In the absence of the Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the home, and ensure that all Company policies and procedures and all legal requirements are adhered to within the defined timescales.
You will provide professional advice and support to other team members on all aspects of the care provision.
You will be responsible and accountable for the management of the dementia care approach and will ensure the timely provision of care ensuring the supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.

The person
You must be a qualified nurse with an active PIN and have at least 2 years experience working within an elderly nursing environment.
