Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Lead for a lovely nursing home in the Dorchester area, Dorset, South West. The nursing home is a beautiful building that caters to residential and nursing needs of the elderly. The nursing home is close to the centre of Dorchester, near to local shops and is an integral part of the local community, often taking part in community events.

The Nursing Home is looking for a Deputy Manager/ clinical lead to work up to 40 hours per week on day shift, splitting super numery and on the floor work. The nurse should be general qualified - RGN or mental health qualified - RMN and will ideally have 6 most post qualification experience. The successful nurse - RGN, will join a private organisation that places a large focus on supporting the staff in both their daily duties as well as the progression of their career. 

Job Requirements


  • Administering medication
  • Produce individual care plans
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Work to NMC and CQC guidelines and regulations
  • Commit to improving the lives of residents
  • Training and development of the staff
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents and the families of the residents

The successful nurse must be:

  • RGN (or equivalent)
  • Able to work in the UK
  • Have a valid NMC pin

Salary is £15.50 per hour
