Location: Sidcup, Kent

Salary: £28,000 - £41,000 per annum excellent benefits

Hours: Full Time hours (paid breaks)

Contract type: Permanent

Further Details: We are currently looking for a highly-motivated, competent and experienced Registered Nurse to take on a lead managerial role within a modern purpose-built Elderly Nursing Home based in Sidcup. We are looking for an experienced nurse and manager to take on the role as Deputy Manager. The home is situated is easily accessible from Dartford, Bromley, Orpington and south eastern areas of London. The Nursing Home offers general nursing care, along with convalescence, respite and palliative care. Each resident is treated as an individual and given as much independence as possible.

The service enjoys an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. They have a very good CQC report. Staff morale is very high and they have excellent working conditions. The home offers a warm and friendly environment.

Person Specification: You will make sure that everything runs smoothly within the home, you will be empowered to make decisions, assess needs, deliver care plans, supervise medication and really get to know the residents and their families. Your nursing experience will enable you to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the residents, as part of a wider multi-disciplinary community team. You will work with great autonomy and receive the industry leading support and training you need to progress your career to Manager and beyond. You will enjoy plenty of variety, as well as complex and interesting work at a home where every day is different, you must be able to delegate effectively, deliver medication and maintain high quality care documentation.

Applicants must be RGN or RMN or RNLD trained and must hold a valid PIN. All applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
