Vale House consists of six self contained flats providing residential accommodation and 24 hour nursing support with learning disability nurses.Suitable for males with learning disabilities, the service provides a specialist level of support, complemented by positive behavioural strategies and interventions. Some individuals may also have Autism and other complex needs. The configuration offers a unique support model which encourages independence, but also access to community engagement and social inclusion.

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the strong, supportive leadership and effective management of a team in a learning disability nursing service. The deputy manager will play a pivotal role in providing clinical advice and support to the nursing team with clear defined objectives.
For this post, it is essential that applicants have achieved a nursing qualification (RNLD/RMN) and hold a valid PIN.
Applicants will need to have had experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and behavioural support needs, and be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills.
