DEPUTY SISTER/CHARGE NURSE
FULL TIME 375 HOURS PER WEEK
WARWICK In Patient Unit
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to undertake the role of Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for our 20 bedded in patient unit.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills and be able to work well as part of the team. The post holder will support the Ward Sister in managing the Inpatient Unit and leading an established nursing staff.
You will be committed to the delivery of safe, high quality evidence based specialist palliative care and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, whilst always acting as a role model to junior staff and volunteers. You will promote and participate in the achievement of the Myton values within your everyday practice.
You will have the opportunity for further professional development in a friendly and supportive environment. The successful candidate will have current or recent experience of working in a specialist palliative care setting.
Shifts will be worked on a flexible rostered basis and will include participation on the on-call Senior Nurse Manager rota on a planned basis.

SALARY: £35,053 per annum
