Band 7 Advanced Practitioner Dietitian (Clinical Lead), Paediatric Team

An exciting and excellent opportunity has arisen within the Nutrition and Dietetic Department at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic, Band 7 Specialist Dietitian.

This permanent post would be suitable for an experienced Band 6 dietitian looking to further their career in leadership and management, as you will be the day to day operational Dietetic lead or a current Band 7 experienced Paediatric Dietitian with Team Lead experience. You must also have excellent knowledge in paediatric dietetics including paediatric diabetes as the majority of your clinical role will involve working within this area.

The successful applicant will be an experienced dietitian and have an exciting and challenging caseload working mainly in the acute setting but will also be required to work in the wider community. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a changing environment and have good communication skills and provide evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to this post.

You will be joining an already well established, busy, respected, energetic, friendly and growing team of Paediatric Dietitian.

The team is based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital but covers a countywide service. The successful post holders would be based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital but would be required to work across the Trust but would be required to work out in the community when required for visits.

A BSc Hons degree in Dietetics or equivalent is essential as is State Registration. A driving licence is desirable.

You will be expected to support junior staff with the guidance Service Lead.

The department has excellent computer facilities and we encourage the use of the flexible working system in place.
