We are looking for two band 5 dietitians to join our busy and exciting dietetic department. The post holders will deliver first class dietetic services for patients within a large university teaching hospital, based mainly in an acute setting. The successful applicants will be working mainly within inpatient and outpatient caseloads working closely with the well-established dietetic team comprising of 51 dietitians in a range of specialties. You will develop and take part in patient education events, student training and staff teaching and support the team in audit and service developments. This post is ideal for dietitians wishing to develop their skills; there is a good track record of introducing our dietitians to specialities and supporting career aspirations.

We offer a wide range of dietetic services and specialties in one of the UK’s largest Acute Trusts as well as supporting some aspects of dietetics in the wider community. The post holders join a large team of dietitians within the Nutrition and Dietetic department working with nurses, caterers and speech and language therapists to deliver dietetic care to patients in a busy acute environment.

The department is supported by administration & clerical staff. The Trust operates a flexible working policy.

Stoke on Trent is situated between Birmingham and Manchester in the centre of England with excellent transport links. We operate a no smoking policy at work.
