We are recruiting to various temporary, permanent, full and part time Band 6 nursing posts to work into the Newcastle district nursing service.
You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of Nursing care to a defined caseload by utilising team management and organisational skills. This will include providing leadership, management and clinical supervision to the District Nursing Team. You will be a Registered Nurse Adult level 1 and hold a Specialist District Nursing qualification
The following is required;
• Registered Adult Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Specialist district nursing qualification
• Community nurse prescriber qualification.
• Demonstration of innovative practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Mentorship qualification
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Leadership, management and clinical supervision skills
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is necessary for this position
